Altium Wealth Architecture is an independent Multi-Family Office that provides investment management and family office services to individuals, families and foundations across Quebec and Canada. Operating out of Montréal, we are also registered as a portfolio management and financial planning firm with provincial regulatory authorities in Québec, New Brunswick, Ontario, and British Columbia.

Our Story

The essence of Altium Wealth Architecture began with a desire to elevate the wealth management experience at a time when many were seeking independence, transparency, and an institutional approach to structuring and managing their wealth.

More than that, they were seeking a trusted, competent, and reliable partner.

Being aware of this need, Sam Younès — Altium’s President & CEO — built a team of experts and an ecosystem of like-minded professionals able to deliver a unique wealth architecture offering. Sam carries years of experience in the local and global wealth management and banking industries, working mainly with families carrying larger and more complex wealth.

Since our inception, we have had the honour to grow and become registered as a portfolio management and financial planning firm serving clients across Quebec, New Brunswick, Ontario, and British Columbia.

Our Journey

History & Milestones

Our vision: To be the leader in wealth architecture

2013

Altium is created as an affiliate of Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton. Altium receives its registration as Portfolio Manager from the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) and the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC).

2015

To better focus on our clients’ needs and to operate more efficiently, Altium successfully led and completed a management buyout. Altium becomes a completely independent firm that is 100% employee owned, laying the groundwork to take our services to the next level.

Altium also becomes registered as a financial planning firm.

2020 and beyond

As Altium continues to grow, so does our drive for the advancement of our craft. As a firm built on listening to our clients and their needs, we continue to do just that without ever taking our clients’ trust for granted.
