Meet the team

Jamie is Altium's Vice President, Finance and Operations.  With two decades of diversified experience, he is responsible for strategic, financial and accounting aspects of Altium's operations.  As a member of Altium’s Management Committee, Jamie also plays a key role in the optimization of operating practices to enable the continued growth and refinement of the firm.

Jamie joined Altium in 2025, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the investment banking, corporate finance and technical finance instruction industries.  Most recently, he was a Director and Co-Head of Product Development at one of the world's pre-eminent financial skills training firms.  Prior thereto, he spent three years consulting to boards and management teams of privately-held companies on corporate finance, valuation and mergers and acquisitions matters.

Jamie is a CFA® Charterholder and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (with Distinction) from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary.

Beyond professional life, Jamie is active in the non-profit sector as the Chair of the Board for the YouQuest Young Onset Dementia Foundation (in Calgary) and as a member of the board of directors for Foothills Skating Club.  In addition, he is an avid skier and enjoys exploring Canadian mountains (and their lakes in the summer months).
